Reacting to violence

On 2nd-3rd of July 2011, European Association for the Defense of Human Rights – AEPADO organized the third Module of training in the frame of JUMIGG – ”Young multipliers against violence” in Bucharest, Romania. 
The purpose of this training was to prepare the participants for intervention in the field of violence prevention. During these ten hours, the ten youngsters dealed with theories regarding the concept of learning dynamics, group dynamics, communication tools and team building. The pedagogical tools we used offered theory fundamentals and applications using nonformal education.

We had also an application where the participants dealed with the ways to react on violence and they played a game in order to have a better understanding on how each personality influences the way of violence prevention. At the end of the training, the participants gained the following competencies: understanding the limits of conflict management, having a better personal decisions process, developing public speaking and persuasion skills and using efficient communication techniques
