On July, 6th, AEPADO organized the first meeting in the first multipliers phase in Bucharest. The ten youngsters came up with very interesting project ideas which may be implemented in the frame of JUMIGG program.
The most interesting ideas approached violence prevention as a tool of peer to peer education from the ten multipliers to their friends, colleagues and other youngsters from Bucharest.
The ten youngsters thought about a mass media campaign in order to raise public awareness to the violence, but also they will try to get a sociological research in the field of violence prevention in Bucharest in order to get a better understanding in that field.
In order to ensure the sustainability of the program in Romania and to give a positive feedback to the many requests coming from all over the country to have a wider area of impact, not only Bucharest, we plan to develop pilot projects in Bucharest and according to their success to inspire other collaborators all over the country to develop similar ideas through AEPADO network.
