Theory comes into practice

On 4th-5th of July 2011, European Association for the Defense of Human Rights – AEPADO organized the third Module of training in the frame of JUMIGG – ”Young multipliers against violence” in Bucharest, Romania. 

The purpose of this training was to prepare the participants for the practical activities in the field of violence prevention. During these ten hours, the ten youngsters dealed with theories regarding the concept of streetwork, communication and conflict management. The pedagogical tools we used offered theory fundamentals and applications using nonformal education. 

We had also a game of conflict management and an application related to communication bareers. At the end of the training, the participants gained the following competencies: understanding and applying of “street-work” method, identifying and sustaining a feasible project idea, planning, organising and controlling of project’s activities, understanding and applying of project quality management procedures and practicing team’s decision management.
