Dealing with violence awareness

On 26th-27th of June 2011, European Association for the Defense of Human Rights – AEPADO organized the second Module of training in the frame of JUMIGG – ”Young multipliers against violence” in Bucharest, Romania. The purpose of this training was to raise violence awareness among participants.

During these ten hours, the ten youngsters dealed with theories regarding the concept of violence, case studies in this field, the participants had the change to share their own experiences regarding violence and their thoughts regarding how they can approach violence prevention. This second training was the next step into the team building. The pedagogical tools we used offered theory fundamentals and applications using nonformal education. We had also a negotiation game where the participants faced the conflict management techniques.. 

At the end of the training, the participants gained the following competencies: applying the theories of differentiated instruction, understanding and applying of active learning principles, getting a better knowledge and practicing interactive communication and self confidence regarding personal skills.
